House for Hope
House for Hope Completed!

Thanks to your generous donations, we have completed the House for Hope! On Sunday 10th of July, 2022 Rural Watch Africa Initiative – RUWAI was in the Oka community to commission a 2 bedroom apartment built by the Organization and partners for an indigent family whose former house got burned in a fire.

Mr & Mrs. Uzor and his family could not hide their joy. An Agro-processing (palm kernel cracking and separating) machine was handed over to the Uzors for livelihood support.

To all who support us to achieve this, I say a big thank you.

The House for Hope was opened to Mr. & Mrs. Uzor, the indigent family whose former house got burned in a fire.  RUWAI constructed a new house and established a new business for the family.

Though our House for Hope Campaign is making tremendous progress, we still need donations to finish constructing the home as well as install a pump that will supply up to 50 households with water. Putting the power in the hands of the Uzoh family will allow them to use water to garden on their smallholder farm and put out any future fires within their own control.
