House for Hope

Though the Uzor family is currently living with their neighbors, we wanted to help the parents make a good living for their family. We donated a palm kernel cracking and separating machine to Mr. Uzor, and his wife is enrolled in tailoring classes.  The Uzor children are all attending school and are doing well. The parents are very grateful for the support they have received. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Mr. Uzor’s business venture will help him provide for his family, and prevent the laborious manual ways that rural women in Imo state use to crack palm kernels to provide for their own families.  Mr. Uzor’s wife will also be able to contribute to the family income through sewing and other tailoring skills she is learning. The Uzor children are all attending school, thanks to supporters like you! The parents are very grateful for the support they have received. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Though our House for Hope Campaign is making tremendous progress, we still need donations to finish constructing the home as well as install a pump that will supply up to 50 households with water. Putting the power in the hands of the Uzoh family will allow them to use water to garden on their smallholder farm and put out any future fires within their own control.
